Dave Newell, President of Triad Corvette Club has planned a great road trip for   this Saturday, March 1^st and invited ClubVette members to participate.   Details are:

• For those who enjoy breakfast - meet at Jimmy the Greek's, Hwy 66 Kernersville @ 8:15am
• Meet at Colfax School parking lot (West Market Street) @ 9:30am
• The group will leave Colfax School @ 9:45am and head toward Stuart, VA
• We'll make a stop at Lovers Leap and enjoy the view.
• From there, we'll follow Rt. 58 to Meadows of Dan for lunch.
• After lunch, we'll stop at some shops and tour a candy factory (Yum!!)
• Leaving Meadows of Dan, we'll get on the Blue Ridge Parkway and have a scenic drive back through Bell Spur, Carters Mill, Claudville, VA, Walnut Cove, Walkertown, and finally back to Kernersville.

The trip will take about 5 1/2 hours and we plan to be back no later than 4:00pm.  Dave will have plenty of maps and handouts with directions.  Bring your camera so that we can get some club pictures for the website.

If for some reason, the weather turns ugly for the weekend, we'll announce a rain date.  Right now, there is a chance of rain Friday, but it is supposed to clear out by early Saturday morning.
