Hello fellow Corvette owners/lovers:

I belong to the Star City Corvette Club, Roanoke, VA, (http://www.starcitycorvettes.com/) and would like to invite you to a very special car show - The Star City Motor Madness Car Show scheduled for Saturday June 28, 2008. Details and an event registration form can be found at (http://www.starcitymotormadness.com/).  Please check it out!  Last year the Friday cruise-in and Saturday show had 80,000+ spectators.

Star City CC is responsible for the manufacturer’s feature car that is our beloved Corvette. We have room for 110 Corvettes and would like to fill all our spots.  Proceeds from this show go to support the Virginia Museum of Transportation, also in Roanoke, VA (http://www.vmt.org/ ).

The show also has the infamous George Barris, Kustom Kar designer scheduled to appear. He is responsible for many of the TV custom cars we grew up with including the Batmobile, Munster’s Koach, Green Hornet car, and many others (http://www.barris.com/ ).

Corvette participants that pre-register for the show will have a special show entrance at Williamson Road, SE and Franklin Road, SE that avoids the regular show car entrance, saving time and parking delays. When registering, be sure to check the Corvette “features brand” box under the vehicle information which will allow you in the special Corvette entrance.
